Leftover Turkey Taquitos

1. Combine the cream cheese, Imperio Oaxaca Street Taco seasoning, Imperio Roasted Verde Salsa, and cheese in a large bowl. Add in your shredded turkey. Season with salt and pepper.

2. Warm and soften your corn tortillas one at a time in a lightly oiled hot pan. While they are still warm, add 2 tablespoons of the filling to the tortilla in a line and roll up tightly. Place the finished tortillas on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, and fold side down. A toothpick can help keep them closed!  Repeat with your remaining tortillas.

3. Heat 1/2 inch of oil to 350 degrees in a skillet, preferably cast-iron. Fry taquitos in batches, seam side down, flipping after 1 min on each side. Move the crispy delights to a rack or paper-towel-lined plate, sprinkle with salt, and repeat for the rest!

4. Dress taquitos with Mexican crema or sour cream, sprinkle your favorite dry cheese, and serve with lettuce, Imperio Salsa and homemade guacamole!
